When Video Games Meet Murder: A Look at Gamer Mysteries

The mystery genre has proven to be among the most versatile, mixing easily with different time periods and settings, as well as with other genres. The mobile game Device 6 is a short story mixed with a series of interactive puzzles, the Verge reports. The article calls it a 1960s spy thriller that features a J.J. Abrams type of mystery. The review says it also includes wonderful art and great sound design. This definitely looks like a good fit for readers and gamers alike.



The 10 Best Mystery Games

Gameranx lists out the "Top 10 Mystery Games of All Times," a list that explores games for the PC, the Xbox 360, and the PlayStation that will have you feeling like a modern-day Sherlock Holmes. They include games such as Alan Wake, Black Mirror, and Heavy Rain.

A New York Times bestseller, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library tells the story of Kyle, a game lover who is lucky enough to be invited, with a dozen other kids, to an overnight library lock-in filled with fun and games.
